Here is what we are essentially going to look for in your application.
Full name: We won't be particular about the name, as long as it isn't too fantasy-like and isn't a repetition of some odd name. Having two or three Ashleys on the site would be understandable; having two or three Cadeyrns, no so much.
Aliases:If yur character happens to have any other names that they go by, list them here.
Age: For the sake of realism, the character's age should be within 5 years of the celeb claim's age. So, if you pick a celeb claim that is 25 years old, the character could be anywhere from 20 to 30.
Gender: Male or female, pretty much.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual. This is just for reference and has no bearing on whether the app is approved.
Birthplace: Where was the character born?
Current location: Where is the character located now? (This should be one of the main RP boards, though "transient" is acceptable too.)
Occupation: Your character's line of work. If the character is an extractor, forger, professor, scientist, etc., list that here.
Affiliation: If your character is part of a faction, or may become one, list it here.
Celebrity Claim: Name the celebrity you've chosen as a playby here. Real people, no anime or cartoon characters.
Player's Cbox Name: Put your cbox name here so that other players can identify who is behind this character.
Other Characters: If you play any other characters on this site, list them here. If not, a "no" will suffice.
Have You Read the Rules?: If you did, you'd know what the answer to this question is.
//The Specifics\\
Appearance:
Here, talk about what your character looks like. Try to stay away from fawning over them, though. Just give us the facts- height, weight, hair color, eye color, that sort of thing. You might also mention their usual clothes or any scars they may have.
Personality
Here, describe the character's personality- their usual mood, their perception of others, what makes them happy, what sets them off, and so on. Try to imagine them in little situations if you can't think of anything. For example, how would the character respond to being late to an appointment or losing an heirloom? Be creative.
The Lists: This part is fairly straightforward. "Likes" and "dislikes" are the things your character does or does not enjoy or appreciate. "Strengths" and "weaknesses" are personality qualities such as ambition or laziness. "Skills" are things your character is good at, such as public speaking, drawing, or fighting. "Flaws" are physical or psychological failings such as scars, phobias, or mental illnesses. You may include more than five (or three) of each category, but the likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, and skills and flaws must remain more or less equal in number.
//Background\\
History:
Here is where you explain how your character got to where they are. Start with the character's birth (or earlier, if necessary) and work your way up. Be sure to mention how the character got involved with the organization they work for, if they work for one. If your character has a totem, you should describe it here.
Sample RP:
this is where you show off your writing skills. We won't be judging you on how well you write, though we may point out grammatical errors if there are too many of them. We just want to see how you plan to write with this character.#nosignature#
