The Los Angeles College of Oneirology is a very small institute that focuses on the study of dreams and their uses. Students may enroll at the college after having earned a high school diploma or equivalent degree.
The courses are primarily humanistic and therapy-based, as the college must avoid condoning the practice of extraction and other such concepts. However, an underground study of dream infiltration and manipulation has naturally developed there. The school is an excellent place to find young people with logical minds that have been molded to understand the technical aspects of dream sharing, though if you are looking for someone with a more abstract or artistic approach, this may not be the best place to start.
LACO offers associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in oneirology. This is widely considered one of the "useless" fields, like philosophy or classics. However, graduates regularly find legitimate work at clinics such as the Gaddy Center, as sleep specialists, or as dream interpreters. They are also hired as professors at other colleges, as the study of dreams is slowly becoming more of an appreciated science. #nosignature#
